I am so excited to share this with all of you! I love how much technology this semester has exposed me to,and wanted to go another step in that direction. This semester, I chose to make YouTube videos for my independent learning project. I named the series, Beyond the Book Report, and in it, talk about ways to differentiate the literature experience in the classroom. Each video has activities for auditory, visual, and kinesthetic learners, all based on the same book and standard.
I was surprised at how my time was divided on this project. Filming actually took the shortest amount of time! Coming up with what to talk about proved to be very difficult. Setting up shots (lighting is a pain!) and editing also consumed a great deal of my time.
I’m glad I had the chance to make these videos. They have really gotten me more involved in the creator aspect of YouTube. I hope to build upon the video making skill that I have gained in the future!
